Who We Are

Crank Arm Brewing started with the dream of combining our two passions: bikes and beer. We finally made that dream a reality when we opened our doors in July of 2013 in the heart of the warehouse district in downtown Raleigh, NC.

The idea for Crank Arm Brewing came from Adam in 2012; he loves cycling and saw the need for more quality craft beer in downtown Raleigh. The founders Adam, Dylan, Mike, and Bob combined their varying talents to create Crank Arm with the goal of making Raleigh an even better place with even better beer.

They began work on the brewery in January of 2013 and officially opened to the public 6 months later in July. After finding the space and purchasing the brewing equipment, our awesome Kickstarter supporters helped us finish out the space by providing the unique design elements found inside the brewery.

What Makes Crank Arm Brewing Different

With our focus on quality, craft beer, and cultivating an active lifestyle in the community, Crank Arm Brewing strives to be more than just your run of the mill brewery.

After seeing the quality and clarity of our brews, most people find it surprising that all of Crank Arm Brewing’s beers are unfiltered. Great beer takes time, so we make it a point to never rush our beers. By focusing on the quality, regardless of time or cost, we can continually deliver great tasting beer
